Build & Install 10-Ton Single Leg Gantry Crane

Excel Industries Inc. was contracted to build, and Install, a 10 ton, 50′ span, single leg gantry crane with 40′ high hook. All engineering was completed by Excel engineers, and built in house at Excel’s facility. The crane was installed by Excel’s installation crew, and load tested at 125% rated capacity. Customer supplied a hoist which was fully inspected in-house at Excel. Customer gave a deadline to build their new crane in 4 weeks, and we completed this deadline 3 days early.

After the initial installation was complete, the customer contracted Excel to extend their runways by an additional 50′ on one end of the building. All engineering was completed in house by Excel.
